Dennis' first memories of Lincoln were from the early nineties when he came here to do some hand painted signs at a downtown location. He really came to like it here -- the charm of a small town with its orderly layout and so many of the original store fronts still in use. He enjoys the bare bones, unapologetic spirit of this city, with the visible roots of the past combined with the noise and industry of the present. That's what he saw when he came here and that's what he wanted to portray in his mural.
